Privacy Policy
This privacy policy explains how Orin Media LLC ("Orin Media", "we", "us") handles information in the mobile games we publish, including Drain the Swamp (together, the "Games"), and on this website. If you have any questions, contact us at support@orinmediagames.com.
Information we collect
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or other contact details in the Games.
Game progress and settings (such as your upgrades, best wave and sound settings) are saved only on your device. We do not receive or store this information on our own servers.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to reply to you and to fix problems you report.
Advertising
The Games are free and are supported by ads. We use AppLovin MAX, an advertising platform that works with other advertising networks (our "advertising partners") to show ads in the Games. When ads are shown, AppLovin and our advertising partners may automatically collect information from your device, such as:
- your device's advertising identifier (the IDFA on iPhone, only if you allow tracking; the Advertising ID on Android)
- IP address and approximate location derived from it
- device type, operating system, language and app version
- information about the ads you see and interact with
This information is used to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance, prevent fraud and, where you allow it, show ads that are more relevant to you. These companies process information under their own privacy policies; see, for example, the AppLovin Privacy Policy.
On iPhone, the Game asks for your permission before your advertising identifier can be used to track you across other companies' apps and websites. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and other places where it is required, the Game asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown.
Your choices
- iPhone: you can allow or stop tracking at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your device's ad settings (usually Settings → Google → Ads or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
- Optional ads: apart from the banner, every ad in the Games is optional and only plays when you choose to watch it for a reward.
- Deleting game data: deleting a Game from your device deletes the progress and settings stored for it.
Purchases
The Games do not offer in-app purchases. We never ask for or receive payment information in the Games.
Children
The Games are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Sharing of information
We do not sell personal information that we collect ourselves. Information collected through ads is handled by AppLovin and our advertising partners as described above. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and of Orin Media.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, California, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, or to object to or limit certain uses of it. Because we do not keep personal information on our own servers, most choices are made through your device settings described above. You can also contact us with any request, and we will help or direct you to the right advertising partner.
Data retention and security
We keep support emails only as long as needed to help you and to keep business records. We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
This website
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we add new features to the Games. We will post the updated policy on this page and change the effective date above.
